The Junior Wing Chun System
The Junior Wing Chun system is an age-appropriate adaptation of the adult foundation and intermediate levels, faithfully preserving the rich teachings passed down from legendary masters Ip Man and Ip Ching.
Our junior classes are primarily geared towards making the learning process fun and engaging for kids.
Since children have shorter attention spans, incorporating fun activities and interactive games ensures they stay interested and motivated.
This enjoyable approach helps reinforce the repetition and practice needed for Wing Chun techniques to become intrinsic and second nature.
These two adult levels are divided into 12 belt levels for children:
- Beginner Levels: Yellow, Orange, Red
- Intermediate Levels: Green, Blue, Blue with a White Stripe, Blue with a Black Stripe
- Advanced Levels: Purple, Brown, Brown with White Stripes, Brown with Black Stripes, and the final belt in the Junior system, Black Belt
Each level marks a milestone in your child's Wing Chun journey, motivating them to strive for excellence and personal growth.
Once a Junior Wing Chun student achieves their Black Belt, they naturally transition into the Adult system's advanced levels, continuing their development and deepening their martial arts expertise.
Safeguarding Code in Martial Arts
We are proud to that our club has achieved the prestigious Safeguarding Code in Martial Arts mark since 2018.This demonstrates our commitment to providing a safe and supportive environment for all our students, especially juniors.
The Safeguarding Code ensures the highest standards of child protection and welfare. Parents can be confident their children are training in a secure and nurturing environment.
Our instructors are fully trained in safeguarding protocols, fostering a positive atmosphere for personal growth and development.
